About Our Club

Formed in 1995 the club provides a full range of programmes for swimmers who already have basic swimming skills. They can enter our programmes as a pre squad swimmer and move through juniors up to the senior level squads. A swimmer can also come to us who has some experience in competitive swimming were they will be assessed and placed into a squad that suits their abilities and experience. As the swimmer gains experience and ability all the squads will provide the training and technical skills necessary to compete at all levels of competition. Our club is based at the Palmerston North Boys High Pool on Wellesbourne Street. We have training sessions 6 days every week in the indoor 25m heated pool. A team of qualified and experienced coaches assists our Head Coach Sarah Catherwood, who is an ex New Zealand Olympic team member and comes with a wealth of experience.
